Jetstar Australia offers great deals for traveling to Japan from Australia, with fares as low as AU$289 one way. This is for the JetSaver Light fare, which only allows for carry-on baggage. However, regular JetSaver fares that comes with 20 kilos check-in baggage allowance is available for only AU$20 more. Flights are from Melbourne, and flies to Osaka and Tokyo via the Gold Coast.
The Japan fare sale is on until 30 September, or until seats run out. Travel is from 5 October to 7 December 2009.
